  7. This archive is a BIG update to my previous ones,
  8. and it is also the first Aminet release!
  9.  
  10. A whole bunch of icons  have been added since the
  11. latest  release  on the  ProWB  homepage. I  will
  12. continue  to update the  archive sporadically.  I
  13. have  not much  spare time  anymore  to spend  on
  14. creating  icons,  so you'll just  have to have  a
  15. little patience.

  17. Some  of  these  icons  are  just  redesignes  of
  18. already existing ProWB icons, others are composed
  19. of  bits and pieces from  other ProWB icons, some
  20. are  `bugfixed'  versions from  icons from  other
  21. packages  by  different  authors.  And there  are
  22. ofcourse some own designs present 8).

  24. I use  the icons  in  the `DefIcons' drawer  with
  25. DOpus 5  filetypes.  I use DOpus  as a  WorkBench
  26. replacement (BUY DOpus 5.8 and try it,  you won't
  27. regret it!!!), so I'm free to makeup any deficons
  28. I want for an unlimited number of files. Just  to
  29. say  that they  probably  won't  be  used by  the
  30. `DefIcons'  patch that  comes with  NewIcons V4 -
  31. unless  you modify  the  prefs  file  accordingly
  32. ofcourse 8).

  35. If  all the  icons look like  little squares  you
  36. need to install the fabulous NewIcons patch which
  37. can be  found in aminet:util/wb or  on the  ProWb
  38. support site.

  40. The  ProLite  basic set  (with  all the  standard
  41. system  icons in the  same style can be  found in
  42. the  aminet:pix/icon subdirectory or in the ProWb
  43. support site at:

  47. When  installing these icons  make sure you don't
  48. simply  copy the  icons over  the old  ones, this
  49. will  result in loss of  essential Tooltypes. You
  50. should  use  the  copynewicon  utility  from  the
  51. NewIcons archive.

  54. Many thanks must go to  Eric for pointing out  to
  55. me that I used the wrong shadow pen with my icons
  56. and therefore  the RemoveAA  utility didn't  work
  57. properly on my icons.  Thanks Eric for correcting
  58. them!  (Remember to use the Grey150 color for the
  59. shadows!)   If  there  are  still  any   problems
  60. concerning this, don't hesitate to e-mail me!

  63. without   him   there   would  be   no   ProWB!!!
